New "Common Exotic" Debuts at FWPD's Community Safety Fair

Many of our community members have gotten to meet Tilly (green cheek conure) and Tonto (ball python) at our various health and resource fairs. They help us bridge into conversations about mental health with a more comfortable opening and allow for many fun photo ops. We were proud to add Piplup (budgie) to our crew. While she wasn't ready to come out and say hello, she did fantastic in her display carrier. Thank you to everyone who helped socialize her by feeding Pip her favorite snacks.

At the Community Safety Fair, we got to interact with many different vendors to create partnerships as well as create a fun table for many families to enjoy. They got to pet Tilly, handle Tonto, and discuss mental health and resource needs with our outreach coordinator. We look forward to meeting with more of you!
